Mark, I really enjoyed your approach to the button. I was able to create my own simple button and found that you were right, using your technique the edges were much more clear.
I look forward to many more of your tutorials and was wondering if you would be able to do one on creating curves for web graphics. I see many website headers that have flowing curves that go from one direction to the other and appear seamless. Not only that they have matching or parallel lines that follow suit. I have yet been able to create anything that had nice clean lines. Any chance you’ll be doing something like that soon?

Hi Rod,
Do you have link with an example of this? Sounds like a cool idea.

Not really, I can look around… it’s something simple I am sure. Just something I have really never had a good grasp of.
Actually it didn;t take long to find something like that, lol. Check the link below.

Really does look to me like it should be simple, and most likely it is, but I can not quite get a grasp of it. And after what I saw how you did the button, which as you mentioned was a much better solution, I kept thinking you would most likely be the guy that would have the best answer.

Hi Rob,
Thanks for the example. Yes, I can show how this is accomplished. This is definitely something that can be done with the Pen Tool in Photoshop. But I know that can be overwhelming for some people so I’ll include some basic instruction how it works, along with the curvy effect.
Thanks

Thanks, I have had no formal training at all and just plug away bit by bit on my own. Your tips and products have helped alot in my every present quest for PS knowledge.
P.S. It’s Rod… not Rob. Who is this Rob guy you speak of? Is he tall, hansome like me? Or just a wanna be?

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the button tutorial. Would it be possible to show one more on how to create the cool looking buttons like the ones in the mac? Or an orb will be interesting.
The glow and 3D effect is just perfect. I have tried creating one but it is not up to that standard.
Thanks so much
Jen

I have vied your sample videos these were great, and great effort you have made to creating these videos

What I’d like to see is some hard core stuff for us experienced Photoshop. While some of the stuff on Mark’s courses show some great shortcuts for common tasks, a lot of it is targeted to novice or intermediate level users at best. I’d like to see some advanced stuff on channels and channel mixing, advanced work paths, alpha channels, coloring line art etc. Something for us non-intermediates.

Yes, i agree with Kevin.

Hi Kevin and Jen.
If you are an advanced user, then you might not get much out of these videos. I would recommend looking for my Photoshop Top Secret DVD when it comes out. More info here: http://photoshoptopsecret.wordpress.com/
Thanks
